Hockey (Women)/04 posts

Qualification : 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination passed, and OR Course completed Act Apprentices/ITI passe candidates in any trade. Note : Act Apprenticeship/ITI in any trade i the only qualification and no other qualification including Diploma in Engineering should b accepted as an alternative qualification on the ground of being a higher qualification in the same line of training

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/-

Age : 18-25 yrs

Fee :

(i) For all candidates except those mentioned in sub para (ii) below : Rs.500/-

(ii) For candidates belonging to SC/ST /Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disability Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class" : Rs. 250/-

Fee in the shape of crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft to be prepared after the date of publication of this notice payable in favour of FA&CAO/Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala must be attached duly filled in.

About Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala


Popularly labeled the "Dream Project" by the local media, the Project was sanctioned under the Supplementary Demand for Grants for the Railways in 2006. Initially envisaged as a Joint Venture, it is now coming up as a wholly Departmental Unit. The objective of this project is to set up facilities for manufacture of modern design Coaches for the Indian Railways, simultaneously aiding development and generation of employment opportunities in the area. The foundation stone was laid by the Hon?ble Chairperson, UPA Smt. Sonia Gandhi on 13th February, 2007. Factory Construction, however, could only start in mid 2010, where after the pace has steadily accelerated with the first phase of Production starting in April, 2011.
