Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in Network Routing, Switching and Firewalls.
Excellent communication skills is Must.
Experience in delivery / operations.
The Network & Security Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN architecture.
Detailed knowledge on ISP connectivity, ISP coordination, handling leased lines, ILL, MPELS etc.
Exposure in configuring all types of VPN tunnels in multi-vendor devices.
Exposure on configuration & troubleshooting various Tunnel methods like GRE/IPSEC/IP IP.
Coordination with TAC for troubleshooting.
Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site.
Configuration and Troubleshooting L2/L3 Vlan, VRRP, HSRP, LACP, VTP, IP/Protocol based filter Understanding of multiple STP Concepts in L2 environment.
Knowledge on IP addressing & routing protocol such as Static, RIP, OSPF, BGP, Configuration of Policy based routing.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, analyze, debug and diagnose packets and logs.
Individual must have the ability to work in a highly visible fast paced environment with minimal supervision and SLA deadline responsibility.
Candidate should be working in a 24x7 Network operation environment performing remote break-fix troubleshooting and resolution on cell site equipment.
Individual should also provide technical support via phone and IM to onsite technicians who are working to resolve incident / outages.
Manage tickets in ticketing system to ensure notes are kept up to date and problems are pushed to resolution.
Escalate critical tickets to L3 / Team lead in timely manner.
Execute Network changes & documentation.
Strong, clear and concise communications and speaking skills- Problem Resolution Skills.
Strong service orientation.
Attend group and general staff meetings.
Prepare status reports and recap emails as necessary.
Create Procedures Documents as necessary.
Document standards and procedures.
Resource should have minimum CCNA or JNCIA certification, CCNP or JNCIS certifications are preferred.
